Rayban was first developed for the US Army Air Corps pilots in 1937. Their sunglasses and glasses are forever etched in cultural folklore ranging from the Aviators sported in Top Gun to the Wayfarers in the Blues Brothers. Rayban is known for their G15 lenses which allow 15% of the light to pass through the lens, as well as blocking 100% of the UV rays.
